Dear Preschool Families,
Preschool had another fun, hands-on, and engaging week of learning! Our students have been exploring all things fall through our Tree Study and a variety of creative leaf activities. They learned about different types of trees and leaves, as well as the many animals that make their homes in and around trees.
One of the highlights of the week was going on mini leaf scavenger hunts! Students collected different leaves and then used magnifying glasses to examine them up close or use little sticks to build their name. It was wonderful to see so many curious little scientists making observations, asking questions, and discovering the fascinating details of nature all around them!
Next week, we will kick off Red Ribbon Week and continue SOARing with Kindness with a fun-filled series of themed days! Each day gives our students an opportunity to celebrate healthy choices, kindness, friendship, and being part of our school community.

Tuesday – Bright Colors: Wear bright colors to show that we are bright, positive, and making healthy choices.

Wednesday – Team Spirit: Wear your favorite jersey or team colors to show that we are all on the same team!

Thursday – Follow Your Dreams: Slaybaugh Primary & Bargaintown will celebrate with their fall parade and parties. EHT High School Preschool students should wear their pajamas to represent following your dreams.

Slaybaugh Primary had their picture day on October 20th. In case your child was absent or you are wanting retakes, the Slaybaugh Primary make up picture day will be on December 1st.
Bargaintown students had their picture day on October 21st, In case your child was absent or you are wanting retakes, the Bargaintown make up picture day will be on November 19th.
Fall Recess: Please note that all schools in the district will be closed from November 2nd through November 6th for Fall Recess.
