National School Bus Safety Week | October 19–23, 2026

Next week, we recognize National School Bus Safety Week and the importance of keeping our preschool students safe as they travel to and from school each day. We are grateful to our dedicated bus drivers and transportation staff for the important role they play in ensuring our children arrive at school and return home safely. We also encourage our families to review bus safety expectations with their children, including remaining seated, following the driver's directions, and keeping hands and feet inside the bus. Together, we can help make every ride a safe one for our youngest learners!

Principal:

Dear Preschool Families,

We continue to enjoy the beautiful fall weather as we make our way through October and continue our fun-filled field trips to R & J Farms Pumpkin Patch. Our students are having a wonderful time riding the hay wagon out to the pumpkin fields and choosing a special pumpkin of their very own. It’s a wonderful fall tradition and a memorable way for our students to celebrate the season!

We continue to kick off each Monday by showing off our Preschool WINGS spirit. We encourage everyone to wear their black “Preschool Rocks” T-shirt each Monday as we start the week together with plenty of school spirit!

Upcoming Dates:
  • Slaybaugh Primary Picture Day: October 20
  • Bargaintown School Picture Day: October 21

Looking ahead, our next big event will be the Preschool Fall Parade and Classroom Parties on Thursday. Please see below for the invitation letter that was sent home earlier this month.

Thank you for your continued support. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and we’re looking forward to another fun and productive week ahead!

Warm regards,
Joe Marinelli

Monstrous Morning Meeting

Surprise! Ms. Katie hijacked Ms. Brittny, Ms. Andrea, and Ms. Kelly's morning meeting for a little monster fun! She brought Go Away, Big Green Monster! to life with lots of excitement, silly faces, and big smiles. Our class had fun joining in as we told that big green monster to GO AWAY! What a fun way to start our day!
