Dear Preschool Families,
We had a wonderful week in preschool! It’s hard to believe we are already heading into the fall season, with October just around the corner. Hopefully, Mother Nature will soon bring us a little more sunshine and warmer weather!
Eagle Festival – We are sorry, but tomorrow’s Eagle Festival has been CANCELED due to weather conditions. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Eagle Fest this Saturday due to the impending storm. The safety of our students, staff, families, vendors, and guests is our highest priority. The unpredictable potential for high winds and heavy rain creates too much risk for an outdoor event of this size. We also considered a rain date, but with numerous high school events, area festivals, and staff commitments, finding a suitable alternative date would be difficult. We are disappointed that we cannot celebrate together this Saturday and sincerely appreciate everyone who helped make Eagle Fest possible. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our Eagle community safe.
Monday Reminder: Preschool Rocks!
Please have your child wear their black Preschool Rocks T-shirt every Monday. Wearing our Preschool Rocks shirts is a great way to show our WINGS school spirit and start each week strong!
🎃 Pumpkin Patch Field Trip – Coming Soon!
Our trip to R and J Farms is quickly approaching, and the excitement is building! Please review the important information below:
📍 Address: 723 W. Herschel Street, Galloway Township
🚌 Departure: 10:15 AM from school
🚌 Return: 1:30 PM to school
Important Reminders:
- All students must ride the bus to and from the farm.
- If a parent chooses to drive their child to the farm instead of having them ride the bus, the child will be marked absent for the school day, and the parent will be responsible for paying their child’s admission.
- Parents are welcome to meet us at the farm but must pay their own admission upon arrival.
- If you sign your child out from the field trip, your child will not receive credit for a full day of attendance, as students must be present for a minimum of four hours to receive full-day attendance credit.
Save the Date: Preschool Parents Club Meeting
Our first Preschool Parents Club meeting of the year will be held on Thursday, October 1, at 6:30 PM in the Slaybaugh Primary Gymnasium.
We hope to see you there and look forward to connecting with our preschool families!
