Principal:

Dear Preschool Families,

This week in Preschool has been full of joy and meaningful learning as we continued our exploration of Black History Month. We are honored to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions and rich cultural legacy of the Black community. At our preschool, we are dedicated to nurturing respect, empathy, and a deep appreciation for diversity. Throughout this month, we are highlighting Black history and culture through age-appropriate activities, stories, music, and conversations that help our children learn about the significant achievements and vibrant heritage of the Black community. Our commitment to fostering understanding and compassion extends well beyond February and remains a priority all year long.

Today, we also celebrated the 100th day of school! The children had a wonderful time exploring the number 100—practicing counting to 100 and discovering what groups of 100 items look like. It was a fun and engaging way to mark this special milestone in our school year.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. I look forward to another great week ahead!
Warm regards,
Joe Marinelli
Principal

Celebrating Black History month

We celebrate Black History Month by honoring the remarkable achievements, culture, and contributions of Black individuals throughout history. This month, our hallway wall crafts shine a light on inspiring leaders, artists, inventors, and activists whose courage and creativity have shaped our world. Let these vibrant displays remind us of the importance of diversity, unity, and the ongoing journey toward equality. Together, we celebrate the rich legacy and bright future of Black history.

Honoring growth, creativity, and community on our 100th day

Our teachers, staff, and students had a fantastic time celebrating the 100th Day of School with our preschoolers! From creative activities and counting fun to lots of smiles and excitement, our students proudly showed just how much they’ve learned and grown over these first 100 days. We are so proud of their hard work, curiosity, and joyful spirit — here’s to many more days of learning and fun together!

Wings - Pride

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Pre-K families for your incredible support of our Dance-a-Thon. Because of your generosity, encouragement, and enthusiasm, our students were able to dance their hearts out while helping raise funds that support fun learning experiences and a wonderful culture in our schools all year long. We were able to raise over $15,000 with your help! All of the students received wolf ears and day passes to Great Wolf Lodge as a prize.

In addition, Cassandra Bradley in Ms. Bella Rizzo's class won an overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Congratulations! And we want to recognize Cole Rennich in Ms. Patty Sharpe's class for raising the most money. Ms. Lisa Milstead's class raised the most money overall as a class. We are so grateful to partner with such a caring and supportive community — we couldn’t do it without you!
