Peace Tea Celebration

Peace Tea Celebration
Posted on 01/12/2018

On Friday, January 12, Karen Ogborn's First Grade class presented a program and celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday with a Peace Tea.  They not only entertained the Swift Elementary School children and parents, but also placed the spotlight on King's message, "Solve Problems in Peaceful Ways."  Mrs. Ogborn's FirstPeace Tea Grade class worked hard to learn songs and memorize facts as they followed in Martin Luther King's footsteps.  After the presentation the students shared tea and cookies with their parents and talked about how they could make the world a better place.  The Peace Tea was sponsored by the Egg Harbor Township Education Association. ‚Äč
